Clash Royale New Balance

New Balance Live! (11/1)

The way we approach the Clash Royale card balance is a combination of playtesting and looking at the statistics - in particular, the rates of use of the card and win rates. You can expect monthly balance of keeping fit and fun gameplay possible.
In this round of changes to the balance we're taking a look at the Spirit of Ice, Ice Golem, The Rage and The Tower Inferno.



Spirit Ice: Freeze duration decreased in 1.5sec (by 2sec)

Currently used more at the top, Ice Spirit offers very little stopping power for 1 elixir.
Ice Golem: Damage increased by 74% Death

This change ensures that Death Damage Ice Golem kills skeletons (levels of cards Tournament Rules).
Rage: Effect increased to 35% (from 30%)

Rage can be a really fun and magic of the impact when it makes an appearance at the Arena, but currently is not seeing much use. Increased effect should make it a compelling choice.
Lumberjack: Effect Rage rose to 35% (from 30%)

For consistency with the Rage spell changes above.
Inferno Tower: hitpoints decreased by 6%

Inferno Tower is currently one of the top defensive solutions and as a result of the "big boys" (Golem, etc.) becomes less attractive to use. In addition, it can sometimes be difficult to efficiently remove from the Arena, so we are aiming to remedy both of these things with a small reduction hitpoint.
